Darlington have signed striker Ryan Bowman on a six-month contract, following his release by Carlisle United at the end of last season.
The 19-year-old, who has impressed with four goals during a trial at the Arena this summer, made just nine substitute appearances while at Carlisle.
His first taste of first-team football came at Workington in January 2010, with two goals in nine games.
Bowman has the option of extending the deal when it ends in February.
Quakers boss Mark Cooper now has six strikers on the books for the 2011-12 season, with fellow newcomer James Walshaw adding to Liam Hatch, John Campbell, Michael Smith and Tommy Wright.
