Doncaster Rovers sign Bouhenna, Radford and Barnes

Barnes left West Brom this summer at the end of his 18-month deal

Doncaster Rovers have signed midfielder Giles Barnes and defenders Rachid Bouhenna and Oscar Radford.

Barnes, 23, was released by West Brom this summer and has signed a six-month contract with Rovers.

He previously enjoyed a four-year spell at Derby County, where he scored 13 goals in 96 matches.

Algerian Bouhenna, 20, has signed a 12-month contract, while Radford, 18, joins on a five-month contract. Both are subject to international clearance.

Born in Rotherham, Radford began his career at Sheffield United before transferring to the Blades' Hungarian feeder club, Ferencvaros, at the age of 16.

He told the club's websiteexternal-link: "I signed for Ferencvaros for two years and matured a lot over there.

"When the opportunity came to sign here, I couldn't let it slip."

Bouhenna, who joins Rovers after being released by French Ligue 2 side Sedan, addedexternal-link: "I'm proud to come over to England. The French people admire the English leagues.

"I'm a young player but I know what I need to do to get into the first team."

Rovers have also announced that defender James Chambers has signed a new one-year contract.
