Hereford 0-3 Morecambe

Morecambe made it two away wins in five days with a comprehensive victory over Hereford United.

Danny Carlton opened the scoring by beating his marker Stefan Stam before rifling the ball through the hands of keeper Adam Bartlett.

Phil Jevons drilled home into the far corner to make it 2-0.

And Stewart Drummond blasted home a third for Morecambe when Laurence Wilson's corner was headed back across the goal by Gary McDonald.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford & Worcester:

"Overall I thought we were probably in possession the better team. We've conceded three goals that shouldn't have been conceded.

"Two were from set pieces, and one was from a good strike which I'm sure Adam (Bartlett) feels he should have saved.

"We've created chances and looked quite bright in the first half, but obviously the third goal kills any sort of momentum we have coming into the second half."
