Ross County and Morton played out a goalless draw on the opening day of the First Division season.

Paul Di Giacomo almost put Morton ahead with a superb effort from 35 yards that was matched by Michael Fraser's excellent save.

Grant Evans headed narrowly wide as the visitors continued to press.

Gary Miller had County's best chance nine minutes from the end but was unable to beat goalkeeper Colin Stewart as both sides settled for a point.
