A goal in each half helped Clyde to a season-opening victory over Peterhead .
Peterhead started brightly, with Martin Bavidge firing wide from close-range after 15 minutes.
However, it was Clyde that took the lead on the stroke of half-time when John Sweeney lashed the ball into the bottom-corner from 20 yards.
The home side made the game safe after 75 minutes when Brian McQueen's cross was headed home by Stephen McDonald.
