Ryan Wallace netted twice to give East Fife victory over Elgin in the Ramsdens Cup at the Bayview Stadium.
Wallace struck after 52 and 77 minutes to seal the home side's place in the third round.
His first came from as right-footed strike 12 yards out to strike the bottom corner.
The second was another close-range effort, with Robert Linn almost adding a third bthat was saved by Elgin keeper Alexander Clark.
