Bob Bradley's agent, Ron Waxman, has confirmed that the former USA coach is a candidate for the vacant post in Egypt.

Waxman confirmed Egypt's interest in Bradley, but did not give any further details.

Bradley is reportedly one of three candidates to take over the Pharaoh's.

The seven-time African champions need to replace Hassan Shehata, who quite in June with Egypt in danger of failing to qualify for the African Cup of Nations.

If they fail to make it to the finals in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon it will be their first hiccup in 33 years.

Bradley was dismissed by the USA last month after leading the side to 43 wins, 25 losses and 12 draws in just over four years in charge.

He took the Americans to the 2009 Confederations Cup final - after beating Egypt 3-0 in the group stage - and to the last 16 at last year's World Cup in South Africa.
