Carl Piergianni joins Stockport County on a free

Stockport County have completed the signing of Carl Piergianni on a free transfer from Championship side Peterborough United.
The 19-year-old defender came through the youth ranks at Peterborough but only made one first team appearance.
He spent the second half of last season at Altrincham on work experience, making 21 appearances for the then-Blue Square Bet Premier side.
Stockport begin their season at Forest Green Rovers on Friday.
