Kilmarnock have concluded the season-long loan signing of 22-year-old Osasuna striker Jorge Galan.
International clearance arrived from the Spanish football authorities late on Friday evening.
And Galan will go straight into the squad for Sunday's Premier League match with Hibernian at Rugby Park.
The Spain Under-20 international, who has previously been on loan with Spanish Second Division side Huesca, underwent a medical on Wednesday.
Manager Kenny Shiels revealed that the Galan deal came about because Osasuna were impressed by the way Kilmarnock helped develop the career of Dudu Sissoko when he was on loan from Italian side Udinese last season.
The Spanish club had targeted the big defender as a possible signing and monitored him while at Rugby Park.
"Osasuna came to watch Sissoko last season on three occasions and liked what they saw of the club," explained Shiels.
"This is part of the player's development to add a little bit more to his game with a different playing style in comparison to La Liga.
"During those journeys, they've seen how we play and they liked it.
"I've got a contact who's kept in touch with me about this possibility and he's worked hard on it and pushed it through for us.
"It's very positive when a Spanish club looks to the UK and picks us as the team that they would like their player to get some further development at.
"It's a great priviledge to be recognised for that and I feel proud to be part of that."
