Derby County's centre-half injury problems have re-surfaced with the news that Russell Anderson is likely to be out for up to a month.
Anderson was forced off 35 minutes into Saturday's game against Birmingham City because of a groin strain.
The full extent of the problem has not been revealed but Anderson is expected to be out until after the international break in early September.
The Rams are already without skipper Shaun Barker and Chris Riggott.
New signing Jason Shackell is fit but has also struggled with injury during pre-season.
