Ian Thomas-Moore trains with Accrington Stanley
Free agent Ian Thomas-Moore is training with Accrington Stanley in a bid to secure a contract with the club.
The 34-year-old former Tranmere, Burnley and Stockport striker has been without a club since leaving Rotherham at the end of last season.
Stanley boss John Coleman told BBC Radio Lancashire: "He's just come to do a bit of training with us.
"He's without a club and we said we would have a look at him anyway because he is a good footballer."
He added: "As always, I will have to wait and see what the financial situation is before I can go any further, but for now he is just training with us."
Coleman is also hoping that he can bring in at least one new face before they play Southend at The Crown Ground on Saturday.
He said: "I'm hoping I can complete a loan deal to bring in Padraig Amond if we can complete the international clearance. I may be able to get one more loan player in too."
The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland under-21 international midfielder is currently registered to Portuguese club Pacos de Ferreira in the Primeira Liga and played for Stanley on trial this summer.
