South African club Ajax Cape Town have signed former Liverpool and Dutch goal keeper Sander Westerveld.
The club has said on its website that Westerveld is to join on a two year contract, to replace Hans Vonk, who retired at the end of last season.
It will be the 11th club in the goal keeper's career, which has seen him play in the Netherlands, Spain and Italy.
He will miss Ajax's opening game of the season this weekend.
But he is expected to make his debut next Wednesday.
The 37 year old played seven times for the Dutch national side and made 75 appearances for Premier League side Liverpool, during a three-year spell.
