East Fife claimed their first league win of the season as Airdrie United lost at Bayview.

Craig Johnstone opened the scoring for the hosts nine minutes before the break, converting Scott Durie's cross.

Robert Linn slammed home substitute Steven Hislop's cross to double the Fifers' advantage in the 64th minute.

The hosts lost David Muir to a red card after he clashed with Kieron Stallard but Airdrie were unable to make their numerical advantage count.
