Jack Midson netted his fourth goal of the season to give AFC Wimbledon a share of the points against Hereford.
The Bulls took an early lead when Benoit Dalibard floated in a cross for the unmarked Delroy Facey to head home.
Wimbledon reacted well with Charles Ademeno heading an effort against the post, before Midson met Sammy Hatton's corner to head in the equaliser.
The Dons had a chance to snatch victory in injury time but captain Jamie Stuart fired wide.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Hereford manager Jamie Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester:
"Those lads are dead on their feet in there - they are exhausted.
"But I would say that was one of the best games of football I have seen for a long time as it was end-to-end with chances.
"It was enjoyable to watch and credit to Wimbledon as well as it was a great advert for League Two football."
