Carrick Rangers 1-2 Crusaders

Carrick scored their first goal in the Carling Premiership but they still lost out at Seaview.

Northern Ireland winger Stuart Dallas slid in the opener for Crusaders on 17 minutes after latching onto Timmy Adamson's throughball.

Rangers went close before Colin Coates made it 2-0 from a 55th minute penalty after a foul on Michael Halliday.

Paul Owens pulled one back with a classy finish on 72 minutes but the Crues held on for the three points.
