Sean Rigg impressed with new Port Vale formation

Port Vale benefitted from playing three central defenders in the 3-1 win at Barnet, according to Sean Rigg.
John McCombe, Gareth Owen and Clayton McDonald formed a three-man defence for Micky Adams' side, who have picked up four points from their first two games.
Rigg told BBC Radio Stoke: "Adam Yates and Lee Collins were bombing on down the wing. They've got the fitness to do it and it definitely worked for us."
The former Bristol Rovers striker netted twice at Underhill.
He described his first goal, a long-range effort, as the best he has ever scored.
"I think that's definitely one of the best," said Rigg, 22. "You don't score many like that and to get a goal like that gives you a big boost of confidence."
Meanwhile, Vale boss Adams has said he may utilise the same formation again in the future after picking up three points at Barnet.
"We may use it away from home," Adams told BBC Radio Stoke. "We looked a big side with the three centre-halves.
"There's no great secret to getting out of this league. You've got to be big, strong and physical, but you must also have that ability to play as well."
