Gateshead cruised to a routine victory against 10-man Mansfield.
Jon Shaw opened the scoring when he latched on to Yemi Odubade's pass before drilling home from 18 yards.
Kris Gate fed Odubade, who scored with a low shot into the bottom corner for 2-0 before the Stags' Paul Connor headed a good chance over the bar.
The Heed sealed victory when James Curtis headed in from Michael Cummins' centre and Tom Naylor saw red for the visitors for violent conduct late on.
