Celtic striker Gary Hooper will definitely miss Celtic's home Europa League tie against Sion on Thursday due to an ankle injury.

Following a scan on Monday, Celtic have confirmed the Englishman could be out for "a few weeks".

Hooper was carried off during Celtic's 5-1 against Dundee United on Saturday after a challenge from Paul Dixon.

Last weekend, Emilio Izaguirre suffered an ankle break against Aberdeen, ruling him out for several months.
