Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale has warned against snap judgements after his side's poor start to the season.

Two defeats and a draw have left the Grecians second bottom in the League One standings.

"Things will settle down," Tisdale told BBC Radio Devon. "It always takes a couple of months for me to see the pattern in this team.

"We've lost some key players and the players have to step up and I've got to see how that balance shifts."

Having drawn 0-0 with Stevenage on the opening weekend of the season, Exeter have since lost against MK Dons and Brentford.

Tisdale continued: "It will settle and I'll work it out pretty quickly and I'll see what we need to do.

"But along the way, the players need to do their part in this and they need to show a lot more than they did in the first-half against Brentford."

Next up for Tisdale's men in the league is a trip to Preston on Saturday.
