Southend boss Paul Sturrock has hinted midfielder Alassane N'Diaye could return to parent club Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old has yet to feature for the Blues amid reports of a training ground dispute with a team-mate.
"I'm in discussions with Alassane about his situation at this football club," Sturrock told BBC Essex.
Defender Bilel Mohsni has already been , described by Sturrock as a "fracas".
Despite the two incidents, the Southend boss has insisted his squad are united.
Sturrock said a bust up in the tunnel after Saturday's win at Accrington, centred around midfielder Anthony Grant and opposition players, had showed him his side were pulling in the same direction.
"All of a sudden Granty was barred from getting into a changing room through their team being upset about the sending off [of Kevin McIntyre]," he said.
"There was a bit of scuffling going on.
"The good thing about team spirit is, my dressing room emptied very quickly and they were out there ready to box.
"If that's not team spirit, I don't know what is."
