Cambridge Utd 1-2 Kidderminster

A first-half brace from Steve Guinan gave Kidderminster victory at Cambridge.

The striker fired home the first from 12 yards and four minutes later he was left unmarked to head in a Callum Gittings corner.

Cambridge substitute Michael Gash pulled a goal back with his first touch, sweeping in from close range.

Conal Platt fired just wide in the final minute as the home side slipped to a first defeat of the season.

Kidderminster assistant manager Gary Whild told BBC Hereford and Worcester:

"We are pleased after the first set of games with our return.

"We can keep improving. We said that after the first game against Gateshead.

"We were a bit untidy with the ball at Cambridge but we will get better at that."
