Goals from Stephen O'Neill and Paul Owens earned Carrick Rangers their first Premiership win of the season.
Ryan Harpur had his header well saved by Chris Keenan, David Magee shot over and Kevin Kelbie headed wide.
Stephen O'Neill controlled the ball, turned and scored the opening goal in the 44th minute.
Paul Owens unleashed a half-volley past Andy Coleman from 25 yards in the 64th minute, then Andy Graham turned the ball into the Carrick net after 79.
