Stephen McDonald's winner ensured that Clyde continued their promising start to the season with home victory over 10-man Montrose.

McDonald's close-range finish was the deciding goal of the game in the 50th minute, following good work by Liam Cusack on the right wing.

Cusack sent a header against the post four minutes later and was then denied by Montrose goalkeeper Michael Andrews.

Montrose had Paul Lunan sent off for a second booking after 85 minutes.
