Andy Cook hit a hat-trick as Barrow stunned previously unbeaten Fleetwood.
Cook opened the scoring when he turned in Andy Ferrell's free kick at the far post.
Barrow doubled their lead when Paul Rutherford's cross was turned into his own net by former Bluebirds defender Paul Edwards.
Cook added a third with a bullet header from Jack Mackreth's centre and completed his hat trick with another header.
