Lincoln City sign midfielder Jean-Francois Christophe

Christophe made 65 appearances in two seasons at Southend

Lincoln City have been granted international clearance for French midfelder Jean-Francois Christophe, 24.

Imps manager Steve Tilson signed the former Southend man on a one-year deal after he proved his fitness following a thigh injury.

"He's almost there with his thigh, I think now it's just a mental thing for him," Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire.

"He's done everything but shooting, but he'll definitely be involved because he's different to what we've got."

Christophe played under Tilson at the Shrimpers, making 65 appearances in two seasons.
