Poyet urges Brighton 'calm'

Brighton manager Gus Poyet says they need to stay "calm" after their "dream start" to the season as they beat Sunderland 1-0 in the second round of the League Cup.

Craig Mackail-Smith's strike in extra-time was enough to knock out the Premier League side and Poyet says the striker deserved his goal as he works hard for the team.

Newly-promoted Brighton are fourth in the Championship, having won three and drawn one of their first four matches of the season.
