MK Dons boss Karl Robinson 'can emulate Paul Lambert'

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson has the ability to emulate the success of Norwich manager Paul Lambert, according to Dons assistant John Gorman.
Robinson oversaw Tuesday's 4-0 League Cup win over the Canaries, who have achieved back-to-back promotions to the Premier League.
"I'd like to see him follow in Paul Lambert's footsteps. He's good enough," Gorman told BBC Three Counties Radio.
"And I think tonight we were proud as a staff at the way our team played.
He added: "What Paul's achieved in the two promotions, I'd love to see Karl, with a bit of help from myself and the staff, I'd love to see him follow in his footsteps."
Two years ago Norwich and MK were both League One sides but, under Lambert, the Norfolk outfit have risen to the top flight.
One man deemed surplus to requirements at Carrow Road during that period was midfielder Luke Chadwick, who joined the Dons last year.
The 30-year-old's time at the Canaries was hampered by injury, but he has shown consistency at Stadium MK, and has added goals to his game, taking his tally for the season to four with two strikes against Norwich.
"I'm so pleased for Luke, we've been continually saying to him he should score more goals," added Gorman.
"He gets into that area every single game, no matter who we play against, Luke can get through people with one-twos and into the box.
"Sometimes his finishing lets him down, we've been convincing him the best way to score is to side-foot the ball and he's doing that now instead of blasting it.
"He's on fire, has come back to his old stomping ground and he must be a proud man."
