Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is expected to be out for a month with medial knee ligament damage.

The 25-year-old, who joined Wolves from Plymouth in 2008, suffered the injury during Tuesday's 4-0 Carling Cup win at Northampton, in which he scored twice.

It was the forward's first start of the campaign after he was kept out by Steven Fletcher and Kevin Doyle for the opening two Premier League games.

"The injury is worse than we thought," Wolves boss Mick McCarthy admitted.
