Lincoln City 1-1 Stockport County

Stockport maintained their unbeaten start to life in the Blue Square Bet Premier as they hung on at Sincil Bank for a fourth draw in five matches.

Alan Power put Lincoln ahead, rifling in from the edge of the box for first blood in the battle of last term's two relegated Football League sides.

But County's Tom Elliott levelled just before the break when his weak header dribbled in off the inside of the post.

It leaves Lincoln still without a home win in three attempts this season.

In fact, their last win at Sincil Bank came back on 12 March against Imps manager Steve Tilson's former side Southend.

Both sides suffered the heartache of relegation from the Football League last season. But, while they still only boast two wins between them this time round, new County boss Dietmar Hamann's men did at least reserve their unbeaten record.

Tilson's Imps twice went close to regaining the lead but were twice denied by the woodwork.

Gavin McCallum hit the bar in the 55th minute and luckless midfield man Power hit the post late on with a superb free kick.
