Jersey Premiership champions St Paul's suffered a defeat on the opening day of the new league season, losing 3-1 against Trinity.
Goals from Eamon Elliott (2) and Dave Clayton helped Trinity secure their victory.
Prolific striker Craig Leitch found the back of the net for the title-holders.
In the other top-flight games in the island on Saturday, St Peter beat Premiership newcomers First Tower Utd 4-3 and St Ouen overcame Grouville 4-2.
