A stunning goal from loan signing Cristian Montano wrapped up victory for Notts County over Bournemouth.
The home side opened the scoring in the first minute, Lee Hughes sliding the ball under Darryl Flahavan.
The Cherries levelled when Marc Pugh chested down Harry Arter's pass and finished well.
Krystian Pearce's thumping header restored County's lead and Montano sealed the win with a superb turn and shot into the top corner.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Notts County manager Martin Allen told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"The players played very well. The whole squad that took part - players on the pitch and the lads that came on - all played their part.
"I enjoyed watching the game. I don't think the result was ever in danger.
"The goals that we scored were a good mixture. (Cristian) Montano's one was a brilliant piece of individual skill, the set-play with (Krystian) Pearce scoring another goal, which was great, and then the first one with Lee Hughes - he hasn't done anything for two weeks and he can just turn up there and get that goal like that."
Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury told BBC Radio Solent:
"Being 1-0 down after a minute and a half means it's always going to be a hard game.
"We did get back in it, and I think when we came out for the second half we started well, and at 1-1 I thought we'd be the team to go on and win.
"We can't afford to let lads get a yard on us. We need to be harder to beat.
"(In future games) we've got to be more tough and take things more personally. If everyone does that, we'll do OK."
