Bryan Prunty scored four goals as Dumbarton trounced East Fife to claim a first league win of the season.

Martin McBride opened the scoring with a long-range effort before Prunty fired home his first on 20 minutes.

Prunty and James Lyden added further goals before the break and East Fife's Ryan Wallace missed a penalty after a foul by Lyden on Craig Johnstone.

A volley by Prunty on 79 minutes and a cool finish by the striker five minutes from the end completed the scoring.
