Celtic captain Scott Brown expects to sign deal soon

Scott Brown says he should finalise his new deal with Celtic next week but admits Emilio Izaguirre agreeing a new deal makes the decision easier.
The Celtic captain admitted that the only thing holding the deal up was him "nitpicking" over the details.
"It's just me nitpicking, to be perfectly honest," said Brown. "Hopefully it will be done within the next one or two weeks.
"I just continue with my game and when it happens it happens."
Brown joined Celtic from Hibernian in May 2007, despite speculation that he would move to their Glasgow rivals Rangers, and rumours have persisted that he would leave Parkhead for a lucrative deal in England.
However, the Scotland midfielder denied that contract talks and speculation over his future have been a distraction and remains encouraged that Celtic manager Neil Lennon is keen to retain and strengthen his squad.
"It looks like the club is going forward by tying players down," said Brown.
"It's great for the club and shows we are trying to keep the players who have been doing well in the last couple of seasons."
