St Johnstone have confirmed Callum Davidson will be out for up to five weeks with a torn calf.

The 35-year-old full-back will be absent until at least October after a scan revealed the extent of the injury.

Saints are already likely to be without midfielder Murray Davidson because of a knee injury.

Striker Sam Parkin will be absent for the whole of September with an ankle injury, but Chris Millar and Kevin Moon are set to return to training.
