Lincoln boss Tilson ponders loans as injuries mount

Tilson's Imps have lost three of their first six matches this season

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson says he may have to bring in loan players after injuries left the Imps with only three fit defenders.

Tony Sinclair suffered a knee injury in Monday's 3-1 defeat by Darlington and a back problem sidelined Adam Watts.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "I may have to look at getting somebody in.

"There is a little bit of money for loan players and if it goes now I may be snookered for the rest of the season but I might have to delve into it."

Tilson felt the Blue Square Bet Premier defeat by the Quakers, Lincoln's third loss of the season, highlighted a lack of aggresssion in the back line.

"As a team we have to be harder to break down when we're not in possession," he said.

"I think it's too easy at the moment for teams to get a header, a shot, a run through us.

"We have to affect it in some way. We cannot keep letting teams do what they're doing."
