Motherwell pair sent out on loan

Motherwell have sent youngsters Ross McKinnon and Steven Howarth out on 28-day loans.

Left-back McKinnon has joined Dumbarton in the Second Division while striker Howarth has moved to Division Three side Alloa Athletic.

"Ross and Stevie both need games and this will give them a perfect opportunity," manager Stuart McCall told the Motherwell website.

"Hopefully the will return to Fir Park next month sharper."
