Rangers are hopeful defender Dorin Goian will make a quick recovery from the knee injury he picked up against Aberdeen on Sunday.

And the Romanian may feature in his country's upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers against Luxembourg and France.

"We've got our fingers crossed on that one," manager Ally McCoist told the Rangers website.

"The good news is though that he's feeling a big improvement and we're hopeful he will be fine."

Goian came off on the stroke of half-time during Rangers' 2-0 win against the Dons at Ibrox.

"We were a little bit concerned about Dorin jarring his knee on Sunday as he has had problems with it before and he looked to be in a lot of pain," added McCoist.

"He's not in the clear yet but he feels an awful lot better."
