Everton Ladies can end up with cup - Gwennan Harries
Everton forward Gwennan Harries says the Blues are in the sort of form that could see them win the Continental Cup.
Mo Marley's side finished third in the FA Women's Super League and won six of their last eight games.
Harries told BBC Radio Merseyside: "Hopefully we will come away with some silverware to end the season.
"We showed during the second half of the season that we're a match for anybody in the WSL and on our day we can beat anyone."
The Wales international added: "Hopefully we can get the victory [against Chelsea on Sunday] and then we'll be into the semi-final. We've just got to be confident and build on each performance."
Everton had a slow start to life in the WSL, with only one victory in their opening six fixtures, to leave them short in the search for the inaugural title.
The league was won by Arsenal on Sunday, with Birmingham in second, but Harries is sure her team have as much quality as those above them.
"It was just a disappointing start to the season for us," said Harries.
"But we're pleased to have finished as high as we could and show we're not actually that far away from the top two, it was just a poor start from us."
"We picked up the most points in the second half of the season and that shows how well we can play and what kind of run we can go on when we play well."
