Southend United have been hit by injuries to striker Neil Harris and midfielder Lee Sawyer.
Sawyer tweaked a thigh muscle in the warm-up ahead of Tuesday's 1-0 win at home to Crawley in the first round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Harris was taken off with a groin injury and is also set for a spell on the sidelines.
Shrimpers manager Paul Sturrock told BBC Essex: "He's tweaked a groin and it's pretty bad."
The Blues will also be without striker Liam Dickinson, who will now serve a three-match suspension for being sent-off in the game.
Sturrock added: "Liam Dickinson was just going to get taken off because he'd rolled his ankle again.
"He'll have a freshness now, because he's got three weeks before his next game."
