Aberdeen striker Michael Paton has joined Conference outfit Stockport County on loan until January.
The 22-year-old has been recruited by manager Dietmar Hamann on the advice of his assistant, former Ross County manager Willie McStay.
Paton has come through the youth ranks as Pittodrie.
But, despite having made 57 appearances and scoring 10 goals, he has been mainly used as a substitute and has had only two outings this season.
He previously had two loan spells with Brechin City and also had an unsuccessful trial with Austrian top flight outfit Wacker Innsbruck.
