Hibernian have released out-of-favour Dutch midfielder Edwin de Graaf while handing a contract to former Blackpool trainee Adam Mitter.
Central defender Mitter was released by the Seasiders this summer at the end of a two-year apprenticeship.
He said on Twitter: "In bed after a long day but so worth it. New challenge from tomorrow - cant wait."
Hibs say De Graaf's contract was "cancelled by mutual consent" after a 13-month spell at the Edinburgh club.
The former Roosendaal, Feyenoord and Den Haag player had been signed for Hibs by then manager John Hughes after leaving Breda in his homeland.
However, he fell out of favour under present boss Colin Calderwood and ended last season on loan to Dutch club Excelsior.
Now he leaves Easter Road after making 22 appearances for the Scottish Premier League club.
