Gateshead have handed goalkeeper Paul Farman a contract extension until the end of the 2011-12 season.
The 21-year-old has been ever-present for the Tynesiders so far this term, having been told to earn his place by boss Ian Bogie during the close season.
Farman, who has kept two clean sheets in six starts, made only six appearances in total during 2010-11, due to the form of Tim Deasy.
Bogie signed the player from rivals Blyth Spartans in the summer of 2009.
Meanwhile, striker Gary Mulligan, who was also on a month-to-month contract, has signed a short-term deal that will expire in January.
