Kettering 2-3 Fleetwood Town
Last updated on .From the section National League
Fleetwood secured their first away win of the season at Kettering's expense.
The visitors took the lead in the first minute when Jamie Vardy converted Magno Vieira's cross from close in.
Gareth Seddon doubled the Cod Army's lead with a fine shot from the edge of the area before Vardy notched his brace with a neat finish.
Jean-Paul Marna brought the hosts back into it from close range before scoring a fine second but it was not enough for the Poppies.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Kettering Town manager Morell Maison tells BBC Radio Northampton:
"We just didn't get to the beat of the game in the first 45 minutes. We conceded and you could see the team was deflated.
"We've suffered from this for most of the season, conceding goals early in the game and not retaining the ball well in midfield.
"We have a lot of players to come back and we asked a lot of questions of Fleetwood in the last thirty minutes."
