Aldershot 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

Danny Hylton levelled in the fifth minute of stoppage time as Aldershot salvaged a draw against AFC Wimbledon.

Hylton had clipped the bar before the Dons took the lead against the run of play from Max Porter's looping header.

Jermaine McGlashan, Adam Mekki and Anthony Straker all fired over when well-placed to score.

After Ricky Wellard saw red for the visitors for a second bookable offence, Hylton's deflected shot earned the hosts a point.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Aldershot manager Dean Holdsworth told BBC Surrey:

"I'm delighted with the result in the end. But I'm disappointed for dominating the match, with the amount of attempts we had, and not getting three points.

"It feels like a win, and the jubilation of our fans was magnificent. We showed heart.

"We were camped in their half in the second half, and we carried on believing. We will really hurt someone soon."
