Glasgow City remain at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League following their 6-0 win over Rangers.

A Jane Ross hat-trick and goals from Kat Lindner, Christie Murray and Lisa Evans maintained City's 100% record.

"Overall we scored some good goals today and it was nice to get a hat-trick," Ross said.

"We normally get goals from all over the park so it was a nice change for just the strikers to find the back of the net."

Elsewhere Forfar's fantastic run came to an end when Spartans defeated them 1-0 through a solitary strike from Diana Barry.

That result means that Forfar slip from third to fifth as they are overtaken by Spartans and also Celtic who thumped bottom side Falkirk 11-0.

Pleasing for Scotland boss Anna Signeul would be the return to fitness of Celtic and Scotland striker Suzanne Grant who got 6 in the Hoops emphatic win over the Bairns.

Hibernian remain hot on the heels of City as they put 10 past Kilmarnock, with Leanne Crichton, Laura Kennedy and Hayley Cunningham all getting hat-tricks.

Finally, Hamilton Accies recorded one of their biggest ever wins with an 8-0 thumping of Inverness, with striker Susan Fairlie leading the way with three goals.
