Chesterfield's veteran striker Jack Lester faces a prolonged absence after he sustained a broken arm in the goalless draw with Leyton Orient.
The 35-year-old was carried from the field following a collision with O's keeper Lee Butcher.
After the match Chesterfield boss John Sheridan told BBC Radio Sheffield: "I think Jack has a very bad injury. Hearsay is that he's broken his arm."
Spireites defender Jamie Lowry, 24, will also miss games with a broken toe.
