Norwich City striker Oli Johnson is to spend a week training with League One side Scunthorpe.
The 23-year-old former Stockport man had a spell on loan at Yeovil earlier this year.
"We expressed an interest in Oli a while ago," manager Alan Knill told the club website.
"The problem is we haven't seen him play since he was at Stockport, so we've asked him to train with us and we'll make a decision."
Johnson is expected to feature for the Iron's reserves against Middlesbrough on Tuesday.
"If he does really well then we could do something," Knill added.
