The Reds fought back from two down in a stormy Suffolk Road encounter to progress to the Co Antrim Shield semis.
Eamon McAllister fired in an early opener for DC and Ryan Henderson's header made it 2-0 on 43 minutes.
Darren Stuart started the comeback and Dermot McVeigh levelled before Henderson was sent-off for two yellows.
DC's Paul McVeigh and Reds winger Martin Donnelly were dismissed seconds later after clashing before John Convery won it with four minutes left.
