The New Saints manager Mike Davies says his side have finally started to show their true potential after their 3-0 win against Neath at Park Hall.

Defender Steve Evans put TNS ahead after seven minutes with a shot from the edge of the Neath penalty area.

Goals from New Zealand international Greg Draper and striker Alex Darlington sealed the win.

"It was a professional performance, the three points were very important," Davies told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"We were comfortable from the off, I know they had a player sent off but we were superb right through and it was just a great football game for us that the lads can be proud of. It's been coming and hopefully we can build on that and keep it going.

"Everything pleased me, the players stuck together, the quality of the football, the urgency, the desire, the passion and everyone wanting the ball, the movement was fantastic and it was a credit to everyone," Davies added.

The New Saints play reigning champions Bangor City on Saturday at Farrar Road.
