Alfreton Town sign experienced striker Drewe Broughton

Broughton has played for 18 clubs during his career

Blue Square Bet Premier newcomers Alfreton Town have completed the signing of striker Drewe Broughton.

Broughton, who has agreed non-contract terms, was a free agent having left Lincoln City after their relegation from the Football League last season.

The 32-year-old trained with Alfreton in pre-season but picked up an injury.

Broughton, who lists Norwich, MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon among his 18 former clubs, is available for Saturday's home league game with Braintree Town.
